About and how to contact Susan

Susan Mac Nicol is a self-confessed bookaholic, an avid watcher of videos of sexy pole dancing men, geek, nerd and in love with her Smartphone. This little treasure is called ‘the boyfriend’ by her long-suffering husband, who says if it vibrated, there’d be no need for him. Susan hasn’t had the heart to tell him there’s an app for that…

In an ideal world, Susan Mac Nicol would be Queen of England and banish all the bad people to the Never Never Lands of Wherever -Who Cares. As that’s never going to happen, she contents herself with writing her HEA stories and pretending, that just for a little while, good things happen to good people.

Sue is a PAN member of Romance Writers of America and is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association in the UK. She’s also Editor in Chief at http://www.divinemagazine.biz, an online LGBTQ e-zine, and she’s a Charity Board trustee for The Being Me Campaign in London.

She’s passionate about research for her books and has stayed in a circus, taken lessons from a blind person on how it feels to be blind, and travelled to a lighthouse with maintenance crew to see first-hand what it’s like inside. She’s also writing a screen play with a Hollywood actor named Nicholas Downs, with a view to taking her latest release, Sight Unseen, to the big screen.

She has a couple of other roles she performs as well as writing and publishing. Susan is Editor in Chief for Divine Magazine, an entertainment, music and LGBTQ e-zine. She loves being part of the team and getting to meet a load of interesting and often quirky people. If you have a yen to write a few articles for Divine, or perhaps do a guest post for them, please feel free to get in touch at [email protected]. Find out more about what Divine does here.

being-me-campaign-logo-no-backgroundDue to her belief that everyone should be treated equal, and should be able to be themselves no matter what their differences, Susan is also a Board Trustee for a wonderful charity called The Being Me Campaign. It’s something she has a real passion for, believing that the culture of tolerance and acceptance starts with youth and yet can also be imparted to adults. You can find more about this by clicking on the link. The Being Me Campaign is proud to be the preferred charity for the shiMMer event taking place in July.

If you fancy hearing Susan’s dulcet tones, or fancy a laugh, here’s some radio interviews she’s done over the years. You might find them informative, hopefully you’ll have a chuckle or two. The first one is a Benedict Cumberbatch themed conversation between two dyed in the wool Cumberbitches
